Here's the press release...
Following the No.1 success of his monster hit 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me', Example returns with the second single 'Stay Awake' from his much anticipated new album 'Playing In The Shadows' out in September. His new single 'Stay Awake' is produced by dubstep lords Nero and is yet another huge dance anthem from Example who kills it with his trademark combination of thought provoking lyrics and massive choruses. 'Stay Awake' was penned after waking up at Ibiza Rocks and seeing hundreds of kids still going from the night before. Example says 'it's about a messed up generation who spend all their money on partying and questioning whether or not it's right. We spend all our money to stay awake the longest'. 'Stay Awake' is released on 28th August and features remixes from Delta Heavy, Steve Pitron & Max Sanna, Skrillex's protégé Alvin Risk and Micky Slim.

Promises
new single 8 August 2011

Superhot Calvin Harris adds his production skill to a fine remix of this track which comes out sounding like a... well Calvin Harris record. Top twenty for sure.
Here's the press release...
Here are two remixes of Nero’s new single ‘Promises’ which is released on 8th August. Their debut album Welcome Reality will follow on 15th August and will feature the global smash ‘Me and You’, underground hit ‘Innocence’ and most recent single ‘Guilt’. ‘Guilt’ charted at number 8 and ‘Me and You’ charted at number 15 and was the most played record on Radio 1 for three weeks in a row. Remixes here are Nero vs Skrillex and a reworking by Calvin Harris. ‘Promises’ is the fourth single from Nero’s forthcoming debut album out on ‘Chase and Status’ label MTA. The indie/dubstep hybrid smash ‘Promises’ follows their live premiere at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Nero are booked for an intensive run of all major UK music festivals including Glastonbury and Wireless to name a few. Nero have also been invited by the man himself Tinie Tempah to support him on his Autumn arena tour.

Virgin Again?
Posted Friday 8th July 2011 - Sky News

Branson 'To Give Ross Breakfast Radio Show'
12:37pm UK, Friday July 08, 2011
Sir Richard Branson is set to revive his Virgin Radio brand and give Jonathan Ross his own breakfast show, Sky's City editor has learned.
The move could see Sir Richard bring Ross back to radio
Writing on his blog, Mark Kleinman said the pair are part of a consortium which is in talks to buy Absolute Radio, formerly known as Virgin Radio, for around £20m.
The bid, which would see the name return 14 years after Sir Richard sold the business, is being led by former Virgin Radio boss John Pearson.
Kleinman said the Virgin-branded consortium is understood to have been competing with Belfast-based UTV for control of Absolute.
He understands Ross has not formally agreed his involvement but met Sir Richard for talks earlier this week.
The presenter would likely become be a minority shareholder in the venture and would present a flagship breakfast show, Kleinman added.
It would mark his return to radio broadcasting after the 2008 Sachsgate affair, in which he and comedian Russell Brand left lewd messages on the answer phone of actor Andrew Sachs.
My understanding is that if Branson and Ross are successful, Ross would present a breakfast show each morning on the rebranded Virgin Radio station, according to people close to the bid.
Ross left the BBC, including his Friday night chat show, in 2010 after deciding not to renew his contract.
Sir Richard sold Virgin Radio to TV presenter Chris Evans in 1997 for £80m.
It was then sold to Scottish Media Group (SMG) for £225m in 2000, a deal from which Evans personally made £75m.
SMG then sold it to TIML Radio in 2008 for £53.2m.
It was subsequently rebranded as Absolute Radio, which mainly plays guitar-based rock music.
Virgin Group, Pearson and a spokesman for Ross all declined to comment.

Slap, Tickle, Grope
Posted Friday 8th July 2011 - BBC.co.uk

The Beeb appear to be getting up to mischief over shameful News Of The World Rupert Murdoch's difficulty. The BBC website places the story under entertainment just above the Lottery Results and next to CBBC and Food, and with a picture of David Cameron as if he's the Ex-NOW Editor Andy Coulson, perhaps the BBC don't get it... you know the sickening immoral dishonesty bit?

Nice to see SuperEd on the high moral ground again, his criticism of David Cameron giving Andy Coulson a second chance rings so hollow when one remembers Labours former TV media man Peter Mandelson was sacked twice and brought back a third time only to delight Labour's workers showing off his £40,000 Swiss wrist watch while delivering a speech to Conference... oh the memories they've given us
Mandelson could near swap his watch for three houses in Merthyr... what is he doing in the workers party?
