Mike TV is a National Coach Passenger

Mike was born in Cardiff, discovering music radio and developing an interest in the singles charts throughout his teens. After hospital radio, several nightclub jobs and a stint in the civil service Mike was given his first paid 'broadcasting' job in the Virgin Megastore in 1988. Many famous folk visit the Tottenham Court Road Virgin Megastore and in his time there Mike co-hosted with Nick Abbot and interviewed the likes of Gary Lineker, Jools Holland, Ian Wright, Sam Brown and at that time a little known group called Take That.

The next year Mike began his UK Radio Tour at Red Dragon FM in Cardiff hosting Latest & Greatest - a Saturday Morning new release show. Stints followed at Hallam FM in Sheffield, Galaxy 101 in Bristol, Essex FM in Southend, Ocean FM in Fareham and Great North Radio in Newcastle.

In 1995, Mike or Tony as he was then known worked on a series for BBC Radio Wales with a former song-writing chum Steve Johnson, devoting much of their shows to discovering and airing new talent, new names featured included Catatonia, Feeder, Stereophonics and Underworld.

The following year he began working for Capital Gold in London, covering all the major shows and producing Caesar The Geezer. Through the skilled channelling of The Geezer and some increased reviving of Glam favourites he helped Caesar The Geezer become Capital Gold's first market leading show.

In 1997, Mike went to work for 96.4FM The Wave in Swansea, hosting The Late Show. Simulcasting on Valleys Radio and Swansea Sound. He became renowned for his sensitive approach to Love Song requests and this together with The Famous Five Quiz increased the stations listening well into the early hours.

In 1999, Mike was lured to Kent to present the Kfm morning show seven days a week, he built the station's number one show. In 2000 he returned to his home City of Cardiff, where he joined Red Dragon FM at first presenting The Overnight Show and then covering all shows including The Breakfast Show before joining the Capital Gold Network with his own weekly show in October 2003.

Since 2000, Mike has also been developing the club side of his dj-ing. At Cardiff 's top live music venue Barfly he's been able to combine his love of new and old, indie and rock based music into a successful Friday night club called Mad4it! which now also resides on Saturday night's at Newport Meze Lounge.

Mike has also featured as Gay Thump Luvvie in HTV Wales's Straw Dogs, and played the Mayor of Ipswich on BBC 1 Wales in the comedy show, Taste Buddies.
