Silent League
The DT's
Silent League are a big band, I mean there is next to no room on that stage, a space fight breaks out between band members. Interesting stuff though and check out their website for more on the men from weird. Swansea band The DT's supported (in conference below) - one of two big dates for them this week, the next being Tuesday St David's Day supporting The Spin Doctors at The Patti Pavillion. I love the Spins hit 'Two Princes'. A friend of mine got in big trouble when he spotted Valleys Radio play the song in the days after Princess Diana's death, not for playing the song himself but for suggesting to his bosses that it shouldn't have been played as some might believe it to have been in bad taste. It's a caring world eh, so let's shoot the messenger?

Willy Mason
Willy Mason reaffirms what can be achieved with just a guitar and an idea. Wills is like, King Busker at the moment, as the single 'Oxygen' proves, the more less you can cram in, the better. Stripped-back acoustic guitar is the vehicle with which Willie launches through a variety of topics, his roughly-sung social commentary is the only accompaniment, which might provoke cries 'Is this it?' from many. But, nestled in amongst all this rough stuff though is an absolute diamond of a songster - hit home all the more for Willy's voice-cracking delivery. Maturity beyond his 19 years, Willy Mason is an artist you will want to hear again.

Following his show we spun some more tunes Mad4it! style - setlist below!

And we gave away a load of stuff again ... Wedding Present & Baby Shambles CD's, M People T-Shirts and Take That for the answer to a simple pop trivia question - With which group did Lulu have a 1993 No.1 called 'Relight My Fire' yes Mark Owen's on tour and Tickets are available now!

Death From Above 1979
The Fever
Controller
This was a great sold-out gig, a full house - we've never heard such a commotion from just two guys - awesome!

These guys make a massive sound and exhilerating atmosphere, despite a broken microphone many thought was deliberate. Both Sebastien Grainger and Jesse F Keeler hung around after the gig lapping up the vibe and chatting to fans. Rave reviews and a full house this time round but not so long ago '8' people only turned up to experience this rather unique Canadian wall of noise.
