John Peel autobiography next autumn
John Peel's autobiography, which he was writing when he died last month, will be published next autumn. It's thought that Peel had written about a third of his life story, but it has not been revealed who will write the rest. BBC Radio 1 has scheduled a night of tribute shows for Peel on 16 December.

Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank is to host three shows celebrating the music which the late John Peel played throughout the year. The first programme will be broadcast on Radio One on Tuesday, December 28.
