I heard this on Cage The Elephant's myspace and it is surprisingly brilliant. Following their gig at The Point in Cardiff, the requests are starting to come in for 'In One Ear' and the single version of 'Wicked' and soon no doubt this remix too! Excellent

Yep this is a fine remix of a very strong track. Summer hit I think and I love the vid too, it's kinda naff and hyptnotically brilliant at the same time

I like this Denver 6 piece's record, it's edgy, kind of angry, a left field type rock American bands seem to do particularly well - it's almost a US equivalent lyrically of our lovely Arctics - never mind Fake Sounds Of San Francisco here's some musings from Colarado. Yeah good name good record

Charmed & Rearranged new EP 28 July
Yoav and Chromeo are marking new ground for Israeli pop and Yoav has played at Cardiff Barfly. This is another impressive two track (Adore Adore & Beautiful Lie) plus remixes, with a little luck and some profile shows like Later Mr Y should make steady progress

Let's Hang The Landlord new single 4 August
There's a very good chance the landlord is heading for negative equity and will be joining the street punks in a little while .... I kind of like this band and they include the lyrics on the sleeve which provides a remarkable insight into how Britain's new underclass. More than a bit sad that things have come to this, I'm sure The King Blues will win many fans but at present it's unclear whether people who have bartered with the devil and got themselves a mortgage at ten times their salary will end up more impoverished and enslaved. ie dubious content probably restricts hit potential, but who knows, Eminem and Dre have been more uncharitable
