A rather brilliant swashbuckling sonic splurge, gospel influence, pop, a Phil Spector wall of sound approach and off the wall lyrics combine to make Black Kids sound and this single irresistable.

With a message in the music and a video not yet available on YouTube UK, this is the most commercial track yet from another troop of rockers from Florida. Produced by Butch Vig 'Stop' is a solid 3 minute listen if you don't mind a lecture

LKook out for them supporting the devastating Anti-Flag

Big Linda played at our mad4it night a couple of months back - nice guys, great workers, fab show - tight as Fu*k! Golden Girl is another blistering track, 164bpm - short and sweet. I love it

An unusual approach in that all vocal is through some vocoder sounding elctronic gadget. It makes for a Gary Numan-esque distant delivery. A healthy 126+ bpm, made for the dancefloor however, I'm not sure the song is strong enough to cut through

I find it a little difficult to be intimate with, it's a little too elctro for my taste. Each song is aimed at the dancefloor between 100 and 140bpm.. Summer Of 98, Everone Knows Everone (clever lyric), Midnight Movie, Capital Cities and Lately ... I think the songs are just lacking something...
