Humanzi - Long Time Coming new single 13 February Humanzi's 'Long Time Coming' sounds like a hit from the first chord, a playful guitar power chord echoes from right to left and in thumps a fine baseline and a catchy song. Hotly tipped by many we're adding our thumbs up, this band definately have something worth watching out for. XXXXx www.humanzi.com (Posted 13 January) |

Coheed & Cambria - The Suffering new single 6 February The Suffering is Coheed & Cambria's follow-up to 'Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV : Volume 1 From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness'. ??? This is Sci Fi, New York Prog Rock Style 2006 and this single is their most accessible single track yet, a possible crossover, catchy tune, a thumping track, I can't help feeling their fans may not like it for it's commercial sound, however this is the way forward. See Coheed & Cambria kick off a short UK Tour starting on 28 Jan at Southampton Guildhall, then Bristol, Brum, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Brixton Academy on the 4 February. Good Stuff! Leon - Getting Into You new single 6 March Nottingham based Leon Black and his chums Lee Horsley,James Kersey and Martin Holland-Lloyd are releasing this new single on their own Freezer Recordings Label, with their debut album Uppers & Downers released two weeks later on 20 March. A quirky tunefullness to the three tracks on this single include a fine remix of 'Getting Into You'. "We're not sitting back, we've got everything a label needs except the million pound marketing budget!". This is the age of DIY so maybe Leon's 'dark lyrics with immediate tunes' that impressed the likes of Jonathan Ross, Xfm and Janice Long will turn a few more heads their way.
